3D Export

The 3D Export command makes it possible to obtain a model made in Renga in 3D formats for subsequent data exchange with other computer-aided design systems (CAD):

The command is available only when working in the 3D View tab, as it takes into account object hiding.

To export the current view of the model in 3D format:

  1. Go to the 3D View tab. Make sure that all objects to be exported are visible. Hidden objects will not be exported.
  2. Select the Export - 3D Export command.
  3. In the window that appears, select the location, set the File Name, and select the File Type. Click Save.

IFC objects and 3D models in 3DS, LightWave 3D, STL, OBJ, COLLADA, FBX formats inserted into the Renga model as Elements or Links cannot be exported to C3D, ACIS, STEP, Parasolid, JT formats.

An export error indicates that in the model there are objects that cannot be built and marked with a sign .
