Links

The Links editor displays all links pasted in the Renga project. To manage links, use Manage styles – Links on the Primary panel.

File information is stored in the project. However, files are not part of the project. When collaborating and sharing a project with other users, share files with the project.

The editor displays file statuses, link name, load type, path type, saved path, file type and count of file links.

Depending on the link data and the user's task, you can:

	Reload link
	Unload link
	Edit path...
	Delete

The default load type is Automatic. When a project is opened, the file will be automatically loaded into the project, and this will be the case for all project participants during collaboration. To load a file into the project only when needed using the Reload command, set the load type to Manual.

The default path type is Relative. If a relative path is specified, the location of the file must be kept relative to the location of the project. If the file is on a shared drive, change the path type to Full.

The Reload command updates the file in the project to the current state of the file on disk. The Unload command turns off the file display and unloads the file from RAM. After selecting a command and before confirming the actions in the Editor, the file status is displayed in bold.

To confirm the actions in the editor, click OK. Click the Cancel button to exit without saving.
