Tag Styles

Tag style parameter determines appearance and text of the tag. When selecting an object style, you can create a new style if there is no suitable style in the suggested list. Select the Other option on the list of the Tag styles.

In addition, to create or edit window styles, you may use Manage styles – Design – Tag styles on the Primary panel.

To create a new tag style:

  1. In the Tag style editor, create a new style by clicking New tag style.
  2. Set a new name of the style.
  3. On the right side of the window, add a new tag style parameter by clicking Add parameter:
    1. Select the object type and its parameter, quantity or property, whose value should be displayed using the tag.
    2. Select a unit and a number of digits after decimal if needed.
    3. Click OK.
  4. Specify the values in Prefix and Suffix fields.
  5. To put a symbol into the field, move the cursor to the input field. Right click the field to open the shortcut menu and select the Symbol option.

  6. The text of the mark will be placed at the end of a leader line by default. Change the position value if needed.
  7. End line field is needed to wrap the text to the next line. If the value is Yes, the next parameter will be shown on the next line of the mark.
  8. Use arrows at the top of the window or the shortcut menu to change the order of rows on the list.

  9. Repeat the steps if you need to add more parameters.
  10. Click OK to save the changes in the editor. Click Cancel to exit without saving.

Please note, after editing/deleting styles in the editor, by clicking OK, all the performed changes will be applied to the related tags permanently.
