Window Styles

The window style may be applied to the window of any shape or size. The style defines the appearance and filling proportions of the window.

When selecting an object style, you can create a new style if there is no suitable style in the suggested list. Select the Other option on the list of Windows styles.

In addition, to create or edit window styles, you may use Manage styles Window styles on the Primary panel. Window style editor displays a facade view of a window.

  1. In the Window styles editor, create a new style by clicking the New window style button.
  2. Set the new style name.
  3. On the right side of the window, add vertical and horizontal mullions.
  4. On the Parameters tab, specify the constuction materia and other parameters of lining and mullions.
  5. On the Properties tab, you may set values of properties, created in the Object properties editor.
  6. Click OK.

In order to add a mullion:

  1. Left-click the window field. It will light up pink.
  2. Click the button (or select in the context menu)Horizontal mullion or Vertical mullion depending on how the window needs to be divided.
  3. Drag the mullion to the required position holding it with the left mouse button.
  4. To specify the location of the mullion relative to the window lining more precisely, select the mullion and enter the value of offset in percent in the corresponding field.
  5. In order to divide the window once again, select the area into which the mullion needs to be placed by left-clicking in it.

In order to imagine approximately what a window filling of the required proportions will look like, change the dialogue box dimensions.

To delete a mullion, click Delete mullion . When a mullion is deleted, all the mullions and frames that are located in the area formed by it are deleted.

In order to assign property fro frame, do the following:

  1. Select the area to which you want to assign the type and orientation of the frame.
  2. Specify frame settings in the drop-down lists that open in the upper part of the window. The selected settings will be schematically displayed in the editor.

If the frame properties are specified for the area, you can not create mullions on it. Select the None frame type to change selected area.

To save changes in the editor, click ОК. To cancel changes, click the Cancel button.

Please note, after editing/deleting styles in the editor, by clicking OK, all the performed changes will be applied to the related objects permanently.
