Lighting fixture styles

Lighting Fixture Style defines the category and parameters of the lighting fixture.

When selecting an object style, you can create a new style if there is no suitable style in the suggested list. Select the Other option in the list of the lighting fixture styles. However, you can only create an lighting fixture style of the same category as the selected object.

To create or edit lighting fixture styles, you may use Manage styles – Electrical systems – Lighting fixture styles on the Primary panel.

1. In the Lighting fixture styles editor, create a new style by clicking the New lighting fixture style button.
2. Set a new name of the style.
3. At the top right of the window, select a category of a lighting fixture.
   

If there is no suitable category in the suggested list when you select a category, you can add a new one. To add a new category, use Manage styles – Categories on the Primary panel.

4. On the Parameters tab, specify a lighting fixture material, overall dimensions and connection points parameters.
5. On the Properties tab, you may set values of properties, created in Object properties editor.

6. To save the changes in the editor, click OK. Click the Cancel button to exit without saving.

You cannot change the category of an object when editing a style.

Please note, after editing/deleting styles in the editor, by clicking OK, all the performed changes will be applied to the related objects permanently.
