The Route Point tool allows you to indicate a point where route can be connected.
Also, you can use the route point to connect different engineering systems, to designate equipment connection point, to refine the route, or to divide the route into multiple sections, such as building sections.
To refine the route, we recommend editing the route using vertices. |
To place a route point:
Route point name. |
|
Level Determines the route point level. |
|
Vertical offset. Determines the vertical offset of a route point relatively to the insertion point. |
The route point can be connected to one or two of any engineering systems using two ports.
To make the route of the system pass through the point:
If at least one port of the route point is not connected to the route, then all system categories are displayed in the context menu. If both ports are connected to routes, then only their categories are displayed in the list.
In order to modify, copy or relocate the created route point, select it using the Select tool.
If the route point has been connected to a route, the connected routes will be rebuilding automatically while moving the route point. |
