Column

The Column tool enables to create of different shaped columns.

In order to create a column:

  1. On the Tools panel, click the Columntool.
  2. Specify Parameters:
  3. Column profile position relative to axis. Each option on the list shows how the column profile will be located relative to the insertion point on the level's plan or 3D view.

Horizontal offset of column profile. X axis offset relative to insertion point of column. It may assume negative values.

Vertical offset of column profile. Y axis offset relative to insertion point of column. It may assume negative values.

Column style. Defines the column shape, its width and depth.

    Column Height.

Column rotation angle. The rotation angle of column in relation to the coordinates' axis.

    Level. Determines the column level.

Vertical offset. Determines the vertical offset of a column relatively to the insertion point.

    Material.

    Reinforcement style.

Mark. It appears in the schedules. Necessary for insertion into the drawing.

  4. Press ENTER to fix the parameter values.
  5. Select the column insertion point on the working plane.

All the above-mentioned parameters may be modified both in the process of object construction and editing.

If columns are fallen into the section and their material is determined, they will be displayed as hatched ones on the level.

All the universal operations are available for creation of columns.

In order to modify, copy or relocate a column having been created, select it using the Select tool.
