Pipe Fitting

The Pipe fitting tool is intended to put fittings of pipeline valves on routes to design internal plumbing engineering systems.

To place an object:

  1. Click the Pipe fitting tool.
  2. Set the Pipe fitting parameters:
  3. Pipe fitting style. Defines an object category, appearance, overall dimensions, pipe fitting connection points parameters. If there are no any styles applied, the default object appears.

Pipe fitting rotation angle. Available for certain types of pipe fittings only.

Mark. It appears in the schedules. Necessary for insertion into the drawing.

  4. Specify an insertion point of the pipe fitting on a pipe or route.

To place a fitting with the Elbow type, the angle of the route must match the Elbow angle. An error of not more than 5° is permitted.

When placing an eccentric reducer the position of other objects on the route is according to the offset position of the reducer connection point. Flip the route main line and the branches to get the correct objects offset after the reducer.

A fitting divides a pipe into 2 objects. After placing a fitting on a pipe, the pipes before and after the fitting are edited independently.

All the parameters mentioned above may be modified both before placing an accessory on a working area and after that.

In order to modify, copy or relocate created accessory, select it with the Select tool.

To change the default fitting direction, flip the Route.

Use the Flip option on the shortcut menu to change the fitting position relative to the route.
