Automatically by view.

Section in one plane.

Section in parallel planes.

Section in two intersecting planes.

Section Parameters:

In order to create designation of sections in the drawing as in the model consider the following:

  1. When executing a drawing, select the Section designation.
  2. Select the Automatically by view section type.
  3. Set the section parameters to define their display on the drawing.
  4. Move the mouse cursor to view where you need to create sections.
  5. Fix the section position by left-clicking the mouse.

Sections created by Automatically by view will be updating when you edit the model. But if you move or rename the section in the drawing, the link between the section in the model and in the drawing will be lost.

The other construction modes of sections are described in the Modeling section:

Section in parallel planes

Section in two intersecting planes

The parameters may be modified during the construction process and when editing.

All the universal operations are available for creating sections.

In order to modify, copy or relocate a created section, select it using the Select tool.

View direction is determined when constructing the section symbol. To change view orientation use the Flip command in the context menu.
