Creating documentation i.e. making layouts, annotations, finalization drawings by primitives is performing on the drawing tab in Renga.

About scheduling and table creation see the Schedule, Legend, Table sections.

New drawing

In order to create a new drawing:

1. Open the Project Explorer
2. Click the Create New Drawing button.
3. Specify the drawing's name.

In order to open a drawing in the Project Explorer, left-click its thumbnail. You can also copy and paste a drawing in the Project Explorer, select a Topic and change the order of drawings in the Topic using the Drawing Order Editor.

When you insert a drawing into another project, expressions set for object properties are not saved.

A document is executed using a set of tools.

Preparing the page

The default page format is 420х297 (A3 format). The sheet displays a coordinate grid that is the same size as the sheet.

The sheet does not limit the drawing area. It defines the area for printing and exporting to PDF, DWG, DXF and OXPS. The grid does not appear in print and export output.

In order to change the page parameters:

1. On the Tools panel, click the Select tool.
2. In the Parameters panel, specify:

	Page format.
	Page orientation.
	Layout style. Allows you to automatically create the page layout.
	Topic.

If there is no required page size on the list, select the Other option and specify new list dimensions in the appeared window.

The sheet parameters are only available if there are no any selected objects.

Drawing properties

To assign properties to a drawing:

1. Create properties for Drawings.
2. In Drawing tab right-click to open context menu.
3. Select the Properties option.
4. Type a value in the Value text box.
5. Click OK.
