Topics

In Renga you can assign the topic for drawings, levels, elevations and sections, assembly styles, schedules, tables and filters. The topic and topic properties can be used when preparing and filling title blocks, when exporting to CSV, and for grouping components in the Project Explorer.

In order to create a new topic:

1. On the Primary panel click Manage styles – Design – Topics.
2. Click New topic .
3. Set a name of the new topic.
4. On the right side of the window, you may set values of properties, created in the Object properties editor.
5. Click OK.

To save changes in the editor, click ОК. To cancel changes, click the Cancel button.

Please note, after editing/deleting topics, by clicking OK, all the performed changes will be applied to the related objects permanently.

You can set topic:

• In the Topic parameter of the project component. If there is no suitable topic in the offered list, you may create your own by selecting Other from the list.
• Using the component context menu in the Project Explorer.

When selecting a section for a drawing, the ordinal number is determined. The order of drawings in the Topic can be changed using the Drawing Order editor in the Project Explorer.

For each topic, the Drawing count quantity is determined.

References to the Drawing count and the Number can be used when preparing and filling out title blocks.
