Handles

The handles of the vertices appear when you select any object:

The handles in the middle of the segments appear when you select multi-segment objects such as the Room, Floor, Opening, Roof, Rebar, and Hatching ( in model or drawing) and Route:

Handles are intended for:

In order to modify an object do the following:

  1. Select an object.
  2. Click a handle – the object appears in the phantom view.
  3. Using snaps, specify a new point.

The method described above may only be used to modify objects that are constructed by two or more points (for example, a wall or grid line). Objects constructed by one point (for example, an opening, a column, a level) cannot be modified beyond the handle. If you click the handle of such an object, the object will be moved.

In order to transfer an object or group of objects:

  1. Select objects.
  2. Holding ALT, click on the handle and the objects appear in the phantom view.
  3. Using snaps, define the new objects' insertion point.

If a few objects are moved or copied, their position relative to one another remains unchanged.

In order to copy an object or group of objects:

  1. Select objects.
  2. Holding ALT, click the handle – the objects appear in the phantom view.
  3. Using snaps, define the new objects' insertion point.

Using handles, objects can be moved or copied within one level (drawing) only, as well as copy levels.

To move an object to another level, use the Level parameter of the selected object.

In order to transfer objects between levels, drawings or projects, use copy to the clipboard.

Routes cannot be copied or moved using handles.

To convert to arc:

  1. Select an object on the 3D view or level's plan by the Select tool.
  2. Move the pointer onto the handle of straight line segment and select the Convert to arc option on the shortcut menu.
  3. Left-click to fix the new segment position.

  1. Select an object on the 3D view or level's plan by the Select tool.
  2. Move the pointer to the handle of arc segment and select the Convert to line option on the shortcut menu.

    To add a vertex:

    1. Select an object on the 3D view or level's plan by the Select tool.
    2. Move the pointer onto the midpoint – the shortcut menu appears.
    3. Select the Add vertex option.

    To remove a vertex:

    1. Select an object on the 3D view or level's plan by the Select tool.
    2. Move the pointer onto the vertex – the shortcut menu appears.
    3. Select the Remove vertex option.
