Object reinforcement

In Renga you can reinforce the following model objects by using Reinforcement styles:

• Wall,
• Column,
• Floor,
• Opening,
• Beam.
• Isolated and wall foundations.

In order to strengthen wall placements of door and window apertures, use the Reinforcement style property of doors and windows.

In order to strengthen floor placements of openings, use the Reinforcement style parameter of openings.

Also, you can reinforce wall connections. For details see Connection reinforcement.

To create custom reinforcement use the Create rebars action and the Rebar tool when creating an assembly style.

Automated Reinforcement Methods

Reinforcement styles allows to use different methods of reinforcement:

• reinforcement with rebars in a given object
• ready-to-use reinforcing meshes and cages.

The table shows how you can reinforce an object, depending on its type:

Pre-prepared reinforcement unit styles are necessary for the place a meshes and cages.

Thus, to reinforce objects for which there are no suitable reinforcement styles, do the following:

1. Create the necessary reinforcement unit styles and rebar styles.
2. Create reinforcement style by using the prepared styles.
3. Select the object or group of objects of the same type.
4. Set the Reinforcement style in the object parameters.
